Send the gospel where it has not gone

Every gift is received and accounted for by our sending church, Marion Avenue Baptist Church, and passed on to the work in Tanzania.

How to give

Through our sending church

We do not receive gifts directly. Everything passes through Marion Avenue Baptist Church so that giving stays accountable and tax deductible.

  1. 01

    Write the check

Make it payable to Marion Avenue Baptist Church. Please do not make it out to us personally.

  2. 02

    Mark the memo line

Write Helterbran - Tanzania in the memo so the church knows the gift is for our support.

  3. 03

    Mail it in

Send it to the church office at the address shown here. They handle the receipting and send the funds on to the field.

  4. 04

    Give monthly if you can

Steady monthly support is what makes long-term missionary work possible. Any amount, given faithfully, is a real help.

Where it goes

What your giving actually pays for

Missionary support is not an abstraction. Here is the ordinary, practical work your gifts make possible.

01

Daily living on the field

Housing, food, transport and the visas and paperwork that keep a family legally on the field.

02

Preaching and church planting

Meeting places, Bibles and literature in the local language, and the travel it takes to reach outlying villages.

03

Training national men

Teaching materials and time invested in the Tanzanian men God raises up to lead their own churches.

04

Mercy and helps

PLACEHOLDER - any benevolence, medical or schooling work the family is involved in.

Questions about giving

Not sure where to start? Just ask.

Write to us about supporting the work, having us present in your church, or anything else. We would rather answer a question than have you wonder.
